At the minimum,
each sample container label must include the following:
(1) Date and time of sampling;
(2) Sample identification;
(3) UMP=s name; and
(4) Name of person taking the sample.
X Storage: Once the samples have been collected, properly logged
and labeled, the facility's sampler will be responsible for immediately
storing the collected samples at 4° C (39° F) until the collected
samples are sent to the designated testing laboratory. At a minimum,
samples must be received by the testing laboratory within 48 hours of
sampling.
