in KLEINFELDER <br /> Task 3 - Laboratory Analysis <br /> Each of the soil samples collected for quantitative analysis will be submitted under chain-of- <br /> custody control to Sequoia Analytical Laboratories (Sequoia) of Sacramento, California. <br /> Sequoia is certified by the California Department of Toxic Substances to perform the requested <br /> analyses. <br /> A total of six (6) soil samples from the site will be submitted for analysis. The samples will be <br /> submitted for: <br /> • Extractable Fuel Fingerprint by EPA Method 8015M <br /> • Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Methods 8015M <br /> • Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020M <br /> The samples will be analyzed on a rush 24-hour laboratory turn around schedule. <br /> Task E04 - Report Preparation <br /> Upon completion of the soil sampling and our receipt and review of the analytical results, a <br /> separate report will be prepared for client review. The report will include: <br /> • A description of field activities, observations, and protocols <br /> • Tabularized results of soil sample analysis (if applicable) with copies of certified <br /> analytical laboratory results with chain-of-custody documentation <br /> • Conclusions and recommendations <br /> ASSUMPTION AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> • If weather, access, or site conditions restrict our field operations, we may need to revise <br /> our fees. We would contact you for authorization, however, before proceeding with any <br /> additional service. <br /> • This proposal will be adequate to obtain authorization from the PHS/EHD.
