The Order prescribes the removal and remedial actions necessary <br /> to abate the release or threatened release of hazardous substances at the Site. The <br /> Order includes dates by which tasks must be completed to insure a timely response, <br /> and provides an opportunity for the property owner to undertake the necessary remedial <br /> actions. The first task required by this Order is for the respondent to submit a letter of <br /> intent within five (5) days of the effective date of this Order. In the event that a timely <br /> response is not implemented, the Department of Toxic Substances Control is prepared <br /> to make a determination of non-compliance and undertake required remediation. <br /> Should you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Mr. Sam Martinez <br /> at (916) 255-6583.
