Our ability to offer multiple services provides our clients with consistent <br /> oversight and thorough understanding of any project from start to finish. It allows us to more <br /> easily advise clients and potential clients as to the potential scope of work involved and therefore <br /> offer competitive fees for the services we offer. Some of the services provided are: <br /> Groundwater Resources <br /> Our California Certified Hydrogeologist uses geological and hydro-geological information to <br /> analyze groundwater quality and quantity issues for water companies. These have included <br /> laboratory analyses,well site geology during drilling,and pump testing. Regional and site <br /> specific data is integrated to create conceptual hydro-geological models. Well construction <br /> details are designed and implemented by C-57 license drilling contractors. <br /> California Environmental Ouality Act (CEOA) and National Environmental Policy <br /> Act(NEPA)Studies <br /> Both of these surveys involve in depth biological investigations of both flora and fauna at Sites <br /> undergoing development projects. We also perform initial studies,negative declarations, <br /> mitigated negative declarations,environmental impact reports and studies(EIR/EIS). Special <br /> emphasis is spent on crafting environmental commitments to reduce impacts and mitigations. <br /> Hazardous Waste Release Remediation and Removal <br /> With its Occupational Safety&Health Administration (OSHA)Hazardous Materials <br /> certification,Aperio,Inc. has been called upon to investigate,remediate and/or remove <br /> hazardous material spills. This process involves soil and groundwater analysis,professional <br /> oversight,project management,and ensuring compliance with local,county,state and federal <br /> regulations. <br /> Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br /> A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment(Phase 1)involves researching and reviewing historic <br /> and current records pertaining to a specific property in order to discern any current recognized <br /> environmental conditions or historically recognized environmental conditions. This process is <br /> guided by ASTM standard E 1527. Often times these assessments involve the analysis of historic <br /> and current photographs,aerial photographs,as well as topographic maps. A Phase I will also <br /> search publicly accessible databases,review historic documents,and access environmental based <br /> government(local,state and federal)databases. The property typically undergoes a Site <br /> Reconnaissance, including interviews with property owners and adjacent property owners,to <br /> investigate conditions not documented by the methods listed above. <br />
