All mechanical equipment shall be parked or stored in a safe location as <br /> designated by the Project Manager at the end of each workday. <br /> In the event the work is performed contrary to provisions and specifications of the <br /> work plan, permits, regulations, inspection, or any manner which is likely to <br /> ' endanger any person or the public, the work shall be stopped by the Project <br /> Manager or any other authorized representative. <br /> 9.0 TRAINING <br /> All personnel required to wear Level C or higher personal protective equipment shall have <br /> tsuccessfully completed all training requirements set forth in the Final Rule for Hazardous Waste <br /> Operations and Emergency Response, Code of Federal Regulations, Title 29, Part 1910.120, <br /> dated March b, 1989. <br /> American Geological Services, Inc. conducts in house training for all professional and technical <br /> ' personnel to ensure the highest QA/QC and health and safety standards are maintained. <br /> 10.0 MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM <br /> All personnel involved with hazardous materials investigations shall participate in a Medical <br /> Surveillance Program. This program's objectives are to: <br /> Establish a baseline physical examination status of health for monitoring and <br /> comparison of future medical changes; <br /> Identify any illness or condition which may be aggravated by exposure to <br /> hazardous materials, other stressors, or job activities; <br /> Allow early recognition of any condition or abnormalities so that corrective <br /> imeasures can be taken. <br /> ' All medical examinations shall be performed by or under the supervision of a licensed medical <br /> physician who is knowledgeable with or has been provided with the following: <br /> A description of the employee's duties, potential exposure levels, and a <br /> description of personal protective equipment which may be used; <br /> A copy of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA, Hazardous Waste Operations <br /> II' , and Emergency Response; Notice of Rulemaking and Public Hearings; <br /> CA95DE-429 <br /> American Geological Services, Inc. <br /> 12 <br />
