All UST's and associated piping were closed, <br /> removed, and replaced during August 1983 . The product piping was later removed in 1993 <br /> and replaced with double-walled fiberglass piping. <br /> (7) There has been no corrective action taken to date. An initial site assessment was performed by <br /> Gettler-Ryan, Inc. on October 29 and 30, 1998 to document environmental conditions at the <br /> subject site prior to a property transfer. Prelintinary analytical results indicate the presence of <br /> soil and groundwater contamination. Three groundwater monitoring wells were installed <br /> during the initial site assessmem . Quarterly groundwater monitoring will be implemented. <br /> Further site assessment will be performed in order to define the vertical and lateral extent of <br /> hydrocarbon contamination. Once further site assessment has been completed, a corrective <br /> action plan will be developed and a technical/cost feasibility study performed. <br /> A final report documenting the initial site assessment activities will be submitted to San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services within 45 days of completing such activities. <br /> (8) There has been no method of cleanup implemented to date. Further cleanup activities will be <br /> determined upon review of subsequent groundwater monitoring and investigation results. <br /> (9) All soil cuttings generated during the initial assessment activities were stockpiled at the subject <br /> site and sampled for disposal characterisation. Removal and disposal of soil cuttings will be <br /> performed by Integrated Wastestream Management, Inc. All rinsate water and purged <br /> groundwater generated during the site assessment activities were transported by Integrated <br /> Waetestream Management to US Waste's Landfill facility in McKittrick, California for <br /> disposal. <br /> (10) N/A. All underground fuel storage and delivery equipment currently meets all State and federal <br /> UST requirements. <br /> (11) N/A. All underground fuel storage and delivery equipment was closed and removed on August <br /> 24, 1998. <br /> 2652 (d) Chevron will comply with all reporting requirements specified within this subsection. <br /> (e) Chevron will conduct initial abatement, site characterization, and additional corrective <br /> action as specified within this subsection, within sections 2653, 2654, and within Article 11 . <br /> (f) Chevron understands the language within this subsection . <br /> Hopefully, you will find these information to be complete.
