24 April 2007
AGE-NC Project No. 04-1207
• 26 March 2007-TPH-g was detected at 800 µg/1,toluene at 15 µg/1,ethylbenzene at 11 µg/1,
and total xylenes at 47 µg/1.
Hydrocarbon concentrations detected in effluent soil vapor samples were as follows:
• 05 February2007 - Toluene was detected at 3.1 µg/1 and xylenes at 2.6 µg/1.
• 19 February 2007 - Toluene was detected at 2.5 µg/1 and xylenes at 2.4 µg/1.
• 26 FebruM 2007 - Toluene was detected at 2.1 µg/l and xylenes at 2.5 141.
• 12 March 2007 - Xylenes were detected at 2.1 gg/l.
Analytical results of soil-vapor samples are summarized in Table 4. The laboratory reports(CTEL
Project Nos. CT214-0702038 through-0703212), QA/QC reports, and chain of custody forms are
included in Appendix F.
Utilizing the weekly average hydrocarbon concentrations of influent soil-vapor sample data and
average air flow rates, AGE calculated the mass of extracted hydrocarbons. Approximately
255.4 pounds (lbs), or 40.9 gallons, of TPH-g were extracted from well VW-1 and processed
between 05 February 2007 and 26 March 2007(last soil-vapor sample collected in the first quarter).
The mass/volume calculations are included in Appendix G.
3.4. GEOTRACKER SUBMITTALS
GeoTracker confirmation sheets for data uploaded during the first quarter 2007 are included in
Appendix H.
4.0. SUMMARY
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes:
• At the time of the January 2007 ground water monitoring event, depths to ground water
ranged from 47.67 feet to 48.70 feet below the well heads.Ground water elevation at the site
ranged from 3.25 feet to 3.01 feet above MSL and averaged approximately 3.14 feet above
MSL, indicating an increase in elevation of 0.56 feet since the last monitoring event in
October 2006.Graphs depicting trends in depth to ground water and ground water elevation
are included in Appendix I.
Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc.
