Chero ee Ln <br /> Lodi, Ca <br /> An assessment has een performed upon the waste oil storage system, at the above <br /> referenced location in order to determine if it meets the requirements of California Title <br /> 22 requirements re arding hazardous waste storage. This assessment was based upon <br /> visual observations ade during a site inspection. <br /> Description: <br /> Sanborn Chevrolet perates a vehicle maintenance division as part of their business. <br /> When oil is change , the waste oil is drained into portable collection containers, which <br /> are drained daily int a waste oil system. The operator places a suction pipe into the <br /> portable collection ontainer and turns on an air operated diaphragm pump which sucks <br /> the oil from the con ainer and deposits it into a waste oil storage tank. The suction line is <br /> flexiblerubber hose at the suction end, approximately 10'-0" in length, the pipe is <br /> continuous to thew ste oil tank which is a steel tank with integral secondary <br /> containment. The t is located immediately adjacent to the north exterior wall, outside <br /> of the building. Th suction pipe is approximately 10'-0"long. <br /> The following upgr es have been recently installed in order to conform to Title 22 <br /> requirements regarding hazardous material storage systems. <br /> a) Secondary con ainment pan below the pump <br /> b) Containment b 11 at suction end of discharge hose. <br /> c) Tank holdown straps with bolted connection to concrete pad. <br /> d) Positive shut o with over fill alarm with level gauge. <br /> e) Tank monitor r secondary containment space. <br /> f) Steel reinforce flexible rubber hose suction pipe (no joints). <br /> g) Primary and se ondary tank vents. <br />
