Please acquire all necessary clearances and permits, and give the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department and myself at least three working days notice prior
to commencement of actual fieldwork, which is currently scheduled to begin 27 December
2007. If you need additional confirmation, a letter will follow next week.
Jim
James L.L. The existing vapor
extraction well (VW-1) is currently being used for quarterly sampling, as most of the
screen length is submerged (only 4' of screen in the vadose zone) . This report proposes
installing another vapor extraction well, within a few feet of VW-1, with a shallower
screen interval, during this phase of drilling.
You should be receiving a work plan to complete an SVE/AS pilot test, and an interim
corrective action plan, in the next few weeks.
Scott
i
1
