(Stratus). <br /> The Workplan proposes the following scope of work: <br /> • Assess vertical and lateral extent of groundwater impacts from petroleum hydrocarbons, <br /> • Assess shallow, middle, and deep zone groundwater (Enclosed Figure 2) flow directions <br /> and gradients through quarterly groundwater monitoring (install MW-3 through MW-7 to <br /> approximately 35 feet below ground surface [bgs]; install MW-8 through MW-10 to <br /> approximately 65 feet bgs; install MW-11 through MW-14 to approximately 90 feet bgs), <br /> • Replace damaged shallow monitoring well MW-1 (overdrill to destroy, replace with <br /> MW-1 R), <br /> • Assess shallow soil for vapor intrusion (install and sample five soil gas wells SG-1 to <br /> SG-5), <br /> • Further characterize subsurface geology, <br /> • Install shallow remediation wells for future use (one air sparge well [AS-1] and one soil <br /> vapor extraction well [VW-2]), and <br /> • Update the sensitive receptor survey. <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> Q?Recycled Paper , <br />
