The <br /> soil beneath the UST was observed to be contaminated by the EHD staff and the contamination <br /> was confirmed by the analytical results of the soil sample collected beneath the UST at the time <br /> of removal. Interstate Brands Corporation was the owner of the UST. Frances Levin Goodman <br /> Revocable Trust was the property owner when the UST was removed. In April 1989 the property <br /> was granted to Lorrie Green, a relative of Frances Levin. <br /> Interstate Brands Corporation had two monitoring wells and a vapor extraction well installed at <br /> the site in February 1997 and two CPT borings completed in May 2000. Interstate Brands <br /> Corporation notified EHD in November 2005 that they had filed bankruptcy and would not take <br /> further action at the site. <br /> Lorrie Green sold the property to Temple of Deliverance Church in May 1999 and they sold the <br /> property to Timothy Kong in August 2003. EHD has not been able to contact Temple of <br /> Deliverance Church. EHD has met with Timothy Kong and he has not complied with our <br /> directives. Lorrie Green also has not complied with directives to further investigate the site. <br /> EHD is referring this site to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley <br /> Region for oversight/enforcement as the lead regulatory agency. A chronology of site events is <br /> included.
