When the bakery closed the depot in 1994, they attempted to <br /> sublease the property, but were unable to do so, and the property was unoccupied for more <br /> than one year. We have no information in our files to indicate that the bakery leased the site <br /> in 1988, although the bakery may have had a month to month lease for a short period in 1990 <br /> prior to the formal lease agreement. I have enclosed a copy of sections of the signed lease <br /> agreement in Attachment 2. <br /> As you indicated in our conversation on October 25, the PHS-EHD now plans to review <br /> additional records to identify the appropriate responsible party for this site. If the agency <br /> confirms that the Earthgrains Company is not a responsible party, we will receive a letterfrom the <br /> agency notifying us of this determination.
