Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a California Department of Health Services
(DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents:
• TPH-g by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• BTEX by EPA Method 8020; and
• Fuel oxygenating compounds including methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether
(DIPS), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME) and tertiary
butyl alcohol (TBA) by EPA Method 8260.
Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with
findings and recommendations.
3.3. IN-SITU GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
During the soil assessment activities, grab ground water samples will be collected from each of the
soil probe borings, if possible. Ground water sample collection procedures are presented in Section
4.3.
Selected groundwater samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for the following
constituents:
• TPH-g by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• BTEX by EPA Method 602; and
• Fuel oxygenating compounds including MTBE, RIPE, ETBE, TAME and TBA by EPA
Method 8260.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC)reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report
with the findings and recommendations.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
