Charter Way, Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS 11, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />605. A 30 gallon black steel drum of waste paint was observed in the aerosol can puncturing area <br />without a hazardous property marked. A 275 gallon white poly tank of used antifreeze was observed <br />behind the truck shop with a hazardous property of "other." All hazardous waste containers shall be <br />marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Both labels were corrected at the time of inspection. Ensure that all hazardous waste containers are <br />marked with all the required information. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION <br />Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (804) <br />804. Used fluorescent bulbs were observed stored open and uncontainerized in the maintenance/shop <br />building. Universal waste lamps shall be contained in a closed container or package that is structurally <br />sound, adequate to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of the lamp. Immediately <br />containerize all universal waste fluorescent lamps/bulbs in accordance with Title 22 regulations. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by May 12, 2012 <br />along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br />violation and any supporting paperwork. <br />Provided: <br />- Small Business Household Hazardous Waste Facility brochure <br />- Return to Compliance Certification form <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspector: <br />Stacy Rivera (209) 468-3440 <br />Received By: <br />G <br />Title: <br />EHD 23-02-003 Rev 07/12/11 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
