The sample was
collected June 14, 1991 and received at Sequoia Analytical June 18,
1991. The sample, SS-WT-TPI-91 , was analyzed for Total Petroleum
Hydrocarbons as Gas with a BTEX Distinction, Total Petroleum
Hydrocarbons as Diesel, Total Oil and Grease, PCB's, Halogenated
Volatile organics, 'Cadmium, Chromium III, Chromium. V2, Lead,
Nickel, and Zinc.
The Detection Limits for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gas
with a BTEX Distinction were ,xaised by a factor of 100 to account
for the dilution necessary to bring the TPH value into the linear
range for quantitation.
The TPH value ,-is representative of a medium boiling point
hydrocarbon mixture that elutes within a narrow retention time span .
that coincides with.!'the latest portion of a Gas standard and the
earliest portion off'a Diesel standard. It does not resemble the
pattern of either of these two standards. The BTEX constituents
were not detected in this TPH mixture.
If you have any questions or need any further information,
please contact me.
Very truly yours,
SEQUOIA ANALYTICAL
E izabeth Hackl
Vroject Manager
