Locust
Street, Ripon, CA
Dear Mr. Flores:
The attached report 'describes the soil sampling and laboratory
results for a tank removal at the above. referenced site.
The tank removal and 'sampling were conducted on June 14, 1991. - A
soil sample was collected from beneath the former underground
storage tank and analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as
gasoline and diesel (TPHG&D) , benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
xylenes (BTEX) , oil and grease, metals, volatile organic
constituents, and PCBs by appropriate DHS and EPA methodologies..
Analytical results of the soil sample detected low . to medium l
boiling point hydrocarbons at 290 parts per million (ppm) . it
should be noted, however, that no individual gasoline constituents
(BTEX) were detected by the laboratory. The chromatogram produced
by EPA test method 8.015 shows that the detected analyte eluted
following the range ;',for gasoline, indicating that the detected
constituent may be. a "highly degraded gasoline.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at our
Escalbn office (209) x838-3507 .
i
Respectfully,.
W terwork
Jo n P.
