(7 <br /> October 1987) shows ground water contamination at <br /> this site (an excess of two feet of free product <br /> in monitoring well S-2 adjacent to the tanks and <br /> sheens in the other two monitoring wells) . Ground <br /> water gradients at the site may be affected by the <br /> number of domestic wells within a 2000 foot radius <br /> of the site. USA Petroleum is to contact the <br /> County Heath District concerning the need to <br /> monitor domestic wells on a regular basis. Please <br /> submit a Preliminary Report for this facility by <br /> 25 September 1988. In the report include a time <br /> schedule for completing a Problem Assessment <br /> Report by 12 December 1988. <br /> I have enclosed copies of the Tri-Regional Board Sampling <br /> Guidelines and Region 5's Appendix A Reporting Requirements. All <br /> future reports are to follow the formats set forth in these <br /> guidelines. Reports are to be submitted to both Ms. Laurie <br /> Cotulla of the San Joaquin County Health District and this <br /> office.
