Proposed Work Plan November 4, 1988
U.S.A. Petroleum Station No. 65, Lodi, California AGS 87050-3
7) Evaluate the local ground-water gradient by surveying the
top of each well casing, measuring static ground-water
levels in the wells, and calculating the relative elevation
of the ground-water surface in each well.
8) Perform a bailer test on onsite monitoring wells to obtain
initial estimates of aquifer characteristics. This
information is necessary to comply with reporting
requirements for a Problem Assessment Report.
9) Install additional offsite monitoring wells, if necessary,
to adequately delineate the extent of subsurface
contamination.
10) Prepare a Problem Assessment Report summarizing our
findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The report will
meet the reporting requirements of the CRWQCB, Central
Valley Region.
Well MW-4 will be located in Lower Sacramento Road east of the
Woodridge Irrigation District Canal. The location will be
lateral to and downgradient from the underground tanks. Well MW-
4 will be used to help evaluate the lateral extent of
contamination in the inferred downgradient direction from the
tanks. Previously measured directions of ground-water flow at
the site have been south 40 degrees east and south 35 degrees
east. These measured values are based on data collected
approximately one year apart. Well MW-5 will also be located in
Lower Sacramento Road east of the Woodridge Irrigation District
Canal . This well will be located in a direction downgradient
from the underground tanks and will be used to evaluate the
6
` Applied GeoSystems
