Kowtha, P.E. <br /> Consultant Project No: 2007-0065-01 <br /> Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No: Mr. Harlin Knoll, San Joaquin County Public Health Services 11356 <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER (Second 2003): <br /> 1. Stratus measured groundwater elevations and collected groundwater samples from wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-4, MW-6 through MW-10, S-1, and S-2 on April 10, 2003. <br /> 2. Stratus compiled and evaluated groundwater monitoring data. <br /> 3. Stratus received an Authority to Construct (ATC) (#N-4887-1-0 dated April 22, 2003) from the San <br /> Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUACD) to abate and discharge soil vapors <br /> using activated carbon. <br /> 4. Stratus redeveloped wells (S-1, S-2, and MW-8) used in the remediation of the site. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Third 2003): <br /> 1. The next sampling event is tentatively scheduled for July 2003. Groundwater samples will be <br /> collected for laboratory analysis from wells S-1, S-2, MW-1 through MW-4, and MW-6 through <br /> MW-10. <br /> 2. Groundwater samples will be analyzed at a state-certified analytical laboratory for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) by EPA Method SW8015B/DHS LUFT Manual, and for benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary amyl methyl <br /> ether (TAME), ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), and tertiary butyl alcohol <br /> (TBA) by EPA Method SW8260B. <br /> 3. Stratus will initiate assessment activities to characterize the vertical extent of impact to ground <br /> water. <br /> 4.
