;ras
general downgradient direction of around-water flow from the
+ station property. The two webs are approximately 500 feet and
04 2,000 feet east and southeast of the property, respectively.
The analytical results suggest that hydrocarbon .contamination of
the soil and ground water is restricted to the USA station
property and that this contamination does not appear to pose a
threat to water used from cOfsite wells. We recommend that the
04 previously existing wells (S-1 and S-2) installed by Pacific
Environmental Group and wells MW-1 through Iii-3 be monitored and
sampled for laboratory analysis quarterly. The results of
analyses will establish possible future -changes in contaminant
concentrations. Recommendations for possible future remedial
work raay be made if an increase in hydrocarbon, concentrations
occurs.
We also recommend that USA submit copies of this report to Mr.
Robert Niblack of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality
Control Board, 3443 Routier Road, Sacramento, California 95827-
3090 and to PIs. Laurie Cotulla of the San Joaquin Local Health
District, 1601 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, .California 95201.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any .questions
regarding the content of this report.
Sincerely,
Applied GeoSystems
Rodger C.:Witham .
Project Geologist
i <l
' Apo/ded GoSYstems
