(AGE) has prepared <br /> this work plan for the destruction of six ground water monitoring wells at 2850 Loomis <br /> Road, Stockton, California (site). The location of th site is illustrated in Figure 1. Locations <br /> of structures, borings and monitoring wells relate to the site are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> In a letter dated 26 January 2012 (Appendix A), the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) directed preparation cf a work plan to destroy ground water <br /> monitoring wells at 2850 Loomis Road, Stockton, California, in accordance with the EHD <br /> Standards For Well Construction and Destruction. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A total of five ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-4 and MW-6) have been <br /> installed on-site and one well (MW-5) has been installed off-site. Well construction details <br /> are summarized in Table 1 and boring logs are included in Appendix B.Residual <br /> concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in the 75-foot soil sample that <br /> was collected during the installation of well MW- . Analytical results of soil samples are <br /> summarized in Table 2.Thereafter between Augus 2000 and February 2010,ground water <br /> monitoring events were performed at the site tomonitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> concentrations. As described in the AGE-prepE red Closure Summary Report (dated <br /> 23 February 2011), monitoring well MW-1 was hi torically the only significantly impacted <br /> ground water monitoring well at the site.
