27 October 2000
Y AGE-NC Project No. 98-0497
5.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
The findings of the 15 August 2000 and 23 August 2000 site investigation events include the
following:
• Contamination by TPH-g, TPH-d and BTEX compounds was encountered in MW--I and
P-3 soil and ground water samples.
• MTBE and other fuel additives were not detected in the three ground water samples
collected.
• Measured ground water elevation is approximately 34 feet below msl, and was within the
screened interval of each monitoring well.
6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of this and previous investigations, AGE recommends:
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the ground water monitoring network.
7.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised
by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based
mainly upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the
geologic conditions at the site have been made from a limited number of available data points
(Le. monitoring wells) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points. No other
warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this
report.
Advanced Geol+nvironmental,Inc.
