i Chevron Products Company 3 Chevron Station#9-6258,2409 East Main Street at F Street,Stockton,California May 13,2002 • Monitoring Well Development and Sampling. After installation, the monitoring well will be developed by surging the well over.the length of the screen interval then purging approximately 10 casing volumes of water. After well development, groundwater samples will be collected from the well and sent under standard chain-of- custody procedures to a California State-certified laboratory. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg by EPA Method 8015, and BTEX, and fuel oxygenates (MtBE,EtBE, TBA, TAME, DIPE, methanol, and ethanol) using EPA Method 8260B. • Monitoring Well Surveying. A California State Licensed Surveyor will survey the newly installed wells. The well casings will be surveyed to the nearest 0.01 feet in elevation to a known benchmark and located with respect to both the California State Plane Coordinates and latitude and longitude. • Report. A summary report will be prepared after completion of fieldwork and receipt of laboratory analytical reports. The report will include results of the sensitive receptor survey, boring logs, groundwater analytical results, chain-of-custody record, well construction details, a site map showing proposed soil boring location, and conclusions and recommendations. SCHEDULE SECOR is prepared to initiate fieldwork within 4 weeks following approval of this work plan and issuance of permits from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. A report documenting the findings of the site assessment is anticipated to be submitted approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the completion of the field work and upon receipt of all analytical data.
