1 <br /> c7co6gical Tec%tics lira <br /> ' 11017"Street <br /> Modesto,Cahfonua 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> ' REPORT <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 3rd Quarter 2004 <br /> Marci Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> ' Stockton, CA <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> ' November 8, 2004 <br /> f <br /> MEXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> m The site's eleven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly <br /> schedule This report summarizes the 3`d Quarter 2004 monitoring event completed on <br /> August 19, 2004 <br /> The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in seven of the site's eleven wells Well MW-5 continues <br /> ' to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and it experienced an order of magnitude <br /> increase since the last event It is possible that this dump is due to a decrease in groundwater <br /> elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor sample quality <br /> ' Depth to groundwater was measured during third quarter of 2004 On August 19, 2004, the <br /> shallow aquifer flow was S3 8E with a slope of 0 002-fdff, and the deeper-flow was S54°E <br /> ' with a slope of 0 002 ft/ft <br /> Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow <br />' direction The deeper aquifer experienced a 180* reversal of groundwater direction for the <br /> April and May 2003 sounding events and GTP s monitoring efforts confirm that groundwater <br />' direction vanes from month to month at the site There are numerous agricultural, <br /> commercial and residential wells near the Marci parcel and the influences from these wells <br /> are the probable cause for the groundwater direction fluctuations <br /> 1 <br />
