WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc. <br /> Health & Safety Plan for Fuller Mobile Home Park <br /> Page: S <br /> 3.0 Emergency Contingency Plan <br /> Should any situation or unplanned occurrence require outside or support services, the appropriate <br /> contacts from the following list should be made: <br /> • Project Manager <br /> • Client Project Coordinator <br /> • Police/Sheriffs Department <br /> L • Ambulance <br /> • Hospital <br /> 3.1 Emergency Conditions <br /> In the event an emergency develops on-site, the procedures delineated herein are to be <br /> immediately followed. Emergency conditions are considered to exist if <br /> • Any member of the project are is involved in an accident or experiences any <br /> adverse effects of symptoms of exposure while on site. <br /> • A condition is discovered that suggests the existence of a situation more hazardous <br /> than anticipated. <br /> 3.2 Emergency Procedures <br /> In the even of an emergency, the following emergency procedures should be followed. <br /> Personnel on-site should use the "buddy" system (pairs). Buddies should prearrange hand <br /> signals or other mean of communication. In emergencies the following hand signals are <br /> suggested: <br /> ♦ Hand gripping throat: Out of air, can't breathe. <br /> ♦ Grip partner's wrist or place both hands around waist: Leave area immediately, no <br /> debate! <br /> ♦ Hands on top of head: Need assistance. <br /> ♦ Thumbs up: OK, rm,all right, I understand. <br /> L ♦ Thumbs down: No, negative. <br /> Site work areas entrance and exit routes will be planned and emergency escape routes <br /> delineated by the Project Manager. These routes will be shown to all on-site personnel by <br /> the SSO. <br />
