(Delta), has been retained to conduct a hydrogeologic'l <br /> assessment at 7910 Lower Sacramento Road in Stockton, California (Figure i). ,; This_- _-proposed ' <br /> assessment is in response to the detection of petroleum constituents in the soils upon removal of the <br /> underground storage tanks on December 20, 1988. <br /> 1.1 PurRose <br /> This Phase I hydrogeologic assessment will be undertaken to determine the following: <br /> { <br /> 1. Evaluate the site geologic conditions.. <br /> 2. Evaluate the horizontal and vertical extent of petroleum constituents;in the soil. <br /> } 3. Determine whether dissolved petroleum constituents are present in the ground water <br /> beneath the site. <br /> 4. Determine the depth of ground water and the direction of ground water flow <br /> underlying the site. <br /> 5. Determine the location of nearby water supply wells. <br /> F <br /> 6. Evaluate the need for additional assessment or remedial action activities. <br /> 2 Scone of Work <br /> To accomplish these objectives, the following activities are proposed: <br /> Review available geologic and hydrogeologic data pertinent to the site. <br />
