A precision tank test was performed during the summer of 1987 by Hunter Environmental on the three <br /> i s former underground storage tanks. The results,as discussed with the owner,did not indicate a problem with <br /> the tightness of the tanks. However,due to the age of the steel underground storage tanks,Shell decided <br /> to replace them with double-walled fiberglass tanks In December 1988. <br /> E <br /> On December 20, 1988,four steel underground storage tanks were excavated and removed from the site, <br /> ij <br /> kA tank closure report detailing tank removal activities was submitted to San Joaquin County(County) in <br /> April 1989. Three new 10,000-gallon double-walled Fiberglass underground storage tanks were installed on 3 <br /> ` December 22, 1988.
