PROPOSED WORK PLAN: <br /> American Transit Mix <br /> proposes to hire the services of Pratt <br /> j Consulting Company (PCC) to continue excavation of the diesel <br /> l tank pit where the contamination was found. While excavation <br /> is being done, PCC will be taking soil samples to verify the <br /> s condition of the removed soil. :, Photovac 10550, which is <br /> capable of detecting petroleum constituents to parts per <br /> million, will be utilized , under the direction of Dr. Lew <br /> Schalit Ph.D. , for the initial analysis of the soil, after <br /> PCC has determined the extent of contamination they will take <br /> soil samples from the location shown on figure 5 and have them <br /> cOMPOsi:t adi-dowfr4to four samples to be taken to a state <br /> certified laboratory for analysis. If ground water is <br /> encountered before reaching the extent of the plume of <br /> contamination,' water samples will also be taken and analyzed <br /> f by a state laboratory in accordance with the Regional Shard <br /> Staff Recommendations For Initial Evaluation and Investigation <br /> r of Underground Tanks. A final report shall be submitted to <br /> Your department which will include the finf'ings from this <br /> investigation. <br /> XII.
