Contamination <br /> i <br /> delineation work has not bee., adequate to define the southwrrd <br /> E extent of this northern contaminant plume. <br /> i <br /> SYSTEM MONITORING <br /> The ground water withdrawal and soil vapor venting systems will <br /> } be monitored and adjusted so that the systems function at their <br /> I <br /> peak efficiency. During the initial phases,the systems will be <br /> checked daily, with sampling or field measurements adequate to <br /> evaluate influent and effluent concentrations in air and vapor <br /> phases, as well as monitoring of subsurface conditions. After <br /> the'system approaches an acceptable equilibrium, monitoring will <br /> occur. at weekly intervals for .four weeks. If, at that time, the <br /> systems are operating in a satisfactory manner, monitoring wil' <br /> be shifted to a monthly schedule. <br /> PROGPESS REPORTS <br /> Beacon Oil Company will be kept informed of the system progress <br /> with progress reports prepared on at least a.monthly basis. <br /> These reports will include any recommendations for additional <br /> work that becomes necessary on the basis of data collected during <br /> 10 <br />
