Each sample was retrieved and
inspected for floating product, sheen, emulsion, and product
J
` odor. No subjective evidence of floating product, sheen;
l _
emulsion, or product odor was detected in the samples from MW-1,
i MW-2, or MW--3.
After subjective sampling the wells were purged of approximately
` four well volumes of water. Following the
TP g purge per.iad, and
after well recovery to static water level, water samples were
T collected usinglaborator
a y-cleaned teflon bailer. The bailer
was lowered below the air/water interface in order to retrieve a
sample representative of the formation water. The water samples.
were slowly transferred to laboratory-cleaned ztlass vials, sealed
with teflon-lined 'lids, labeled, and immediately placed in iced
storage. A Chain-of-Custody form was initiated by the sampler
and accompanied the sample to the analytical laboratory. A copy
of the completed Chain-of-Custody is included in the Appendix of
--_--- ------- this report. ---
6
