Soil samples
selected for testing were analyzed for total extractable
hydrocarbons (TEH) , total volatile hydrocarbons (TVH) , and
volatile hydrocarbon constituents; benzene, ethylbenzene,
toluene, and xylene .(BETX) . Water samples were analyzed for
total volatile hydrocarbons (TVH) , and volatile hydrocarbon
constituents; benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, and xylene (BETX) .
Soil samples were analyzed for total volatile hydrocarbons using
c
EPA method 8020, which was facilitated through solvent extraction
as described in EPA method 5030. Soil samples were also analyzed
for total extractable hydrocarbons using EPA method 3550 for
extraction. All analyses were .
y performed according to guidelines
established by the California Regional Water Quality Control
Board utilizing gas chr, matography and photo- and flame-
ionization detection. Results of s.-. Ll analyses are listed in
y - Table 1. - - - -
4,►,m!!ed [:©Systems
