09 April 2009
AGE-NC Project No. 05-1256
environmental cleanup without reimbursement or alternative funding.
Ms. Le and AGE will continue to explore other financing options to augment the USTCF. One of
the most promising financial options is NatLust.Natlust's mission is to provide immediate liquidity
to Responsible Party's with approved fund claims where the particular state-administered trust fund
cannot reimburse claims in a timely manner. NatLust will help promote the state cleanup fund's
statutory goals, which typically include meeting EPA's financial responsibility regulations, as well
as promoting a cleaner environment and improved public health through timely cleanup. Recently,
NatLust met with the California State Water Resources Control Board to develop a process for
NatLust to operate in California. From our communications with Mr. Lindsay Trittipoe (President
of NatLust), it appears NatLust will be able to begin operating in California by 01 July 2009. For
more information, please see the NatLust website http://www.natiust.org/.
Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated and is vital to the continued success
of this ground water cleanup effort.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Ally L. Colavita Robert Marty
Project Scientist Vice President
cc: Ms. Nhuan (Nancy) Le and Thien Le
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
