Advancement of six Geoprobe direct-push borings to a depth of approximately 15 to 20 <br /> feet below surface grade, and collection of one grab groundwater sample from each <br /> boring. Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for lithological description, field- <br /> screened for the presence of volatile organic compounds using an organic vapor meter, <br /> and selected samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health <br /> Services certified environmental laboratory. <br /> 2. Groundwater and selected soil samples will be analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) by United States <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SW-846 Method 8015B; <br /> benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX),methyl tertiary-butyl <br /> ether (MTBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (RIPE), ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME). <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) believes the six <br /> proposed borings are located too far from the source area. Therefore, EHD suggests <br /> that the borings be relocated to the following: <br />
