This addendum addresses groundwater contamination, and a <br /> remediation plan for the Regional Water Quality Control Board consideration <br /> ;? 0 RACKGRO UND ANIS IHSTORY <br /> Royal O?k Savings and Loan was the deed holder of this property, a 1.6 acre site on <br /> the northeast corner of Alameda and N. Main St. in Manteca, California. The property <br /> is in Federal Receivership tinder the administration of the Resolution Trust <br /> Corporation. In 1985, die underground tanks from an abandoned filling station were <br /> removed, and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department determined that a <br /> petruieum release had occurred. <br /> Two site investigations were undertaken between 1986 and 1990; one by Harding <br /> Lawson&Associates, and another by Canonie Engineering. <br /> In August of 1990,WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc, submitted a work plan for <br /> the excavation of the contaminated soil. <br /> The excavation was started on SepEember 20, 1990, and completed in October 3, 1990. <br /> of <br /> A total of 4,394 cubic yars wof cont_minahoa were remediated b+y aeration on s'lteethis was <br /> The 903 yard ch 903 yards wernatcd. <br /> completed on October 3, 1990. <br /> W14F proposed to install(3) monitoring/extraction wells ou the site.
