Pump test data and analytical data are included in the report-
Preliminary discussions have been conducted with the City of mwac;c.:a, regardin-;the.
potential for disposing of groundwater into the City sewer system; if we should request
this as a treatment option. As a result of those discuss;.).r., the Ctiy's Consultant i
requested that we perform additional laboratory analyais for metals and organics• hat
analytical data has also been included as a part of this report.
3.0 AQ UMTER CHAR-"t(TERl S7'IC'DETERAR'VATIQN
All qtr 7"hi ]:n end Lithe
This characteristic was determined by a combination of inspection of logs of Monitor
Wells#5-6-7, which were constructed by WHF, and inspection of the logs of Manteza
City Wells#54-6-8-10-15.
The Manteca City Wells were installed by various drilling con.panies belwr:en 19 V7'and
1995. Drillers logs for these wells were obtained from California Division of W Pter
Frsourccs. We drafted up the well logs(See Appendix E), We then con-elated the
stratigraphy reveled by the logs in the vicinity of the Royal Oak-Site.
Our correlation showed the top of the Royal Oak Aquifer to be at 24 Ft., the bottom to
be at 44 ft., and the water table to be at 26 ft, The Aquifer is a Paleo River Channel,
lithologically a coarse sand and gravel.
1I 1 i Pro rfifK
Hydraulic pronerties were determined by analysis of a Constant Discharge Pumping
'Test. Well MW-5 was pumped for 580 minutes at 13.5 GPM. Drawdown
measurements were made at prescribed intervals in the pumped v.ell and the 4
monitoring welts throughout the test.
Coefficients of Transmissibility and storage (where appropriate) were determined using
both the Theis Curve Matching'technique and the Jacob Straight Line Method for
analysis of water table aquifer pump tests. Both the Drawdown and Residual
sis.
Drawdown techniques were used for the.Jacob Analy
