• FIRST QUARTER,2002 GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT JAMAR OIL DISTRIBUTION JUNE 2002 TPH D was detected in wells MW-1 through MW4 this quarter at concentrations ranging from 1,910 µg/1 in the sampling from MW-3, to 574µg11 in the sample from MW-4 Benzene was detected in samples from all wells at concentrations ranging from ranging from 30,000µg11, in the sample from MW-1,to 11 µg/1 in the sample from MW-5. MTBE was detected in samples from MW-1,MW-2, and MW-4 at 220,000µg11,280,ug/l, and 5,700µg11,respectively Toluene was detected in samples collected from MW-1, MW-2,MW-3 and MW-5 at 2,000µg11, 474µg/1, 550µg/1 and 5 5 µgll,respectively Ethylbenzene was detected in the sample collected from MW-3 at 110µg/l Total xylenes were detected in samples collected from MW-1,MW-3, MW-4 and MW-5 at 1,100µg11, 980µg11,230µgll and 3 7µg/1, respectively Tertiarybutyl alcohol(TBA)was detected in the sample collected from MW-5 at 41 µg/l 1,2 DCA was detected in the sample collected from MW-1 at 2,700µg/1 DIPE,ETBE, TAME, and EDB were non-detect in all samples taken this quarter • Groundwater analytical data are summarized in Table 2 and shown on Figure 5 Copies of the laboratory reports with COC documentation are included in Appendix B CONCLUSIONS Generally,the petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations and MTBE have remained relatively consistent over the last two years. However,the extent of impacted groundwater remains undefined at the site 1, 2 DCA was detected for the fust tune this quarter in the sample from MW-1 Samples from MW-5 continue to show detectable concentrates from TBA This is the only well on-site where samples have shown relatively consistent TBA concentrations,possibly indicating and upgradient source.
