Referral for these actions to County District Attorney <br /> f evaluated by EHD. <br /> 08/02/95 EHD UST-Unit III referred site to EHD Lop-Unit IV after July 31, <br /> 1995 piping ,removal and replacement on-site revealed obvious <br /> release (strong hydrocarbon odor and stained soil) from piping. <br /> i <br /> 08/08/95 Date Unauthorized Release Form (URF) submitted to the EHD by <br /> Unocal for soil contamination from piping removal/replacement <br /> activities July 1995. <br /> 08/15/95 Date California State Proposition 65 (Prop 65 #95-095) form filed <br /> by EHD-Unit III staff. <br /> 08/18/95 Date of Delta consulting's Corrective Action Plan Work Plan, (CAP) <br /> for installing at least 10 .push point soil borings for-sample collection <br /> and soil/crush rock removal from piping trenches and excavations. <br /> EHD letter dated August 23, 1995 tentatively approves the CAP <br /> concept' but requires an addendum and a successful public <br /> participation'comment period. <br /> 08/21/95 EHD and Unocal meeting held to discuss corrective action (over- <br /> excavation and soil removal) conducted at site without an approved <br /> work plan. <br /> 08/22/95 Date site enters Public Participation in anticipation of pending <br /> corrective action. <br />
