Those
Unocal notes 1 sent the other day indicated that Ron Rowe was the
SJCEHD inspector on-site, and that he was on-site on October 23 and
25, 1996. The notes suggest that Ron wasn't on-site on October 24,
Benjamin Chevlen, P.G.
Senior Geologist -
Stantec
Ph: (805)230-1266 Ext.293
Fx: (805)230-1277 .
Cell: (916)425-4849
be nj a mi n.ch evlen @ stantec.co m
stantec.com
- i
The content of this email is the confidential property of Stantec and should not be
copied, modified, retransmitted,or used for any purpose except with Stantec's
written authorization. My understanding of the 2008 H2O2 bench scale
proposal was to look at performing spot treatment of the off-site
impact. The subsequent groundwater batch extractions were
proposed after a cost-benefit analysis of the two remedial
methods was performed. Due to continued issues obtaining t
access from the off-site property owner, the groundwater
extractions were never performed. The draft resolution from the
SWRCB in response to SWRCB Resolution No. 2009-0042 (see
Stantec's 5/14/10 report)and the results of flow modeling
performed at the site (see Stantec's 1/6/10 report) led to the
groundwater extractions not being performed.
3/14/2011
