ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> Unocal Service Station No 5886 <br /> 2701 West March Lane <br /> Stockton California <br /> Delta Pmlect No D095-066 <br /> Page 17 <br /> tFollowing receipt of the analytical results, the soil was profiled for disposal at Forward Landfill On <br /> October 31, 1995, Delta received approval from Forward for the disposal of the pea-gravel and soil The <br /> ' soil was hauled by Manley to Forward under Forward's approval number 4649 on November 1, 1995 <br /> A copy of Forward's acceptance is presented in Appendix D <br /> 4.8 Product Line Trenclnne and Stockpile Soil Sampling, Disposal, and Analytical Results <br /> ' New product and utility trenches were dug on-site between October 27 and November 3, 1995 A <br /> representative from Delta was on-site to observe the soil in the trenches and field screen soli for the <br /> i ' presence of hydrocarbons Soil samples were collected and screened approximately every three linear <br /> 4 feet of trench using the methods described in Appendix B No staining or positive field readings were <br /> i ' observed <br /> Soil generated during the excavation activities was stockpiled on-site and covered with plastic On <br /> November 3, 1995, six soil samples were collected from approximately 150 cubic yards of soil Six soil <br /> samples were collected from the soil and composited into three for chemical analyses by Sequoia Each <br /> sample was analyzed for TPH as gasoline, TPH as diesel, BTEX, and total lead using the previously <br /> described methods A summary of the analytical results are presented In Table 2 and copies of the <br /> ' laboratory analytical results and chain-of-custody documentation are presented in Appendix C <br /> ' The soil was profiled for disposal at Forward following receipt of the analytical results On <br /> November 8, 1995, Delta received approval from Forward for the disposal of the pea-gravel and soil <br /> ' The soil was transported by Manley to Forward under Forward's approval number 4674 on <br /> November 13, 1995 A copy of Forward's acceptance is presented in Appendix D <br /> ' RPT 160 SJS <br />
