ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> Unocal Service Station No 5886 <br /> 2701 West March Lane <br /> Stockton,California <br /> Delta Proaect No D095-066 <br /> ' Page 4 <br /> ' The locations of the soil samples collected on July 27, 1995, from the canopy footings are shown on <br /> Figure 4, Canopy Footing Soil Sample Locations <br /> ' 4 <br /> __ 1 1 Stockpiled Soil <br /> Sod generated during the dispenser island removal was stockpiled in three soil piles adjacent to the former <br /> dispensers Soil generated during the exposure and removal of the associated piping was placed next to <br /> ' the trenches The locations of the three soil piles from the dispenser island removal are presented in <br /> Figure 3 At SJCEHD's request, a single soil sample was collected from each of the three soil piles for <br /> ' characterization SJCEHD authorized the consolidation and relocation of soil piles one (1) and three (3) <br /> to the north side of the site following sampling With SJCEHD's authorization, soil pile 2 (generated <br /> ' from the southern dispenser island) was also moved to the north side of the site, but kept separate from <br /> the other soil Soil generated during the removal of the southern canopy footing was added to soil pile <br /> M 2, due to the potential presence of waste-oil compounds Soil generated from the northern canopy footing <br /> was added to the consolidated material from soil piles 1 and 3 <br /> ' Following the consolidation of the soil piles, soil generated during the product lines exposure/removal <br /> was added to the two piles Soil generated from the southern dispenser area was combined with the soil <br /> from soil pile 2 (Figure 3) Soil from the northern and center dispenser was combined with the soil from <br /> soil pile 1 (Figure 3) Both new piles were resampled on July 31, 1995 <br /> 4 1 2 Disoenser Island, Product Line, Canopy Footing and Stockpiled Sod Sampling Analytical Results <br /> ' Each soil sample was submitted under chain-of-custody documentation to Sequoia for analyses of TPH <br /> as gasoline and TPH as diesel using EPA Method 8015 Modified and BTEX using EPA Method 8020 <br /> Soil sample T-6-4 was also analyzed for cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel, and zinc using EPA <br /> Method 6010, halogenated volatile organics using EPA Method 8010, and semi-volatile organics using <br /> ' EPA Method 8270 <br /> ' RPT160 SJS <br />
