U.S.A. PETROLEUM CORPORATION <br /> SUMMARY OF PER SITE LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> I . Soil Sampling Locations <br /> A. Assumes eight soil borings with conversion of two borings to <br /> monitoring wells at each site at the following locations: <br /> 1 . Two borings down gradient of the pump islands . <br /> 2. Three borings along the product line trenches. <br /> 3. Two borings with conversions to monitoring wells <br /> downgradient of product tanks. <br /> 4. One boring adjacent to waste oil tank. <br /> B. In addition, one sample will be collected at the fill <br /> box, for a total of nine soil sampling locations. <br /> II . Soil Analysis <br /> A. Soil samples will be analyzed for the following: <br /> 1 . BETX according to EPA Method 8020. <br /> 2. Total Hydrocarbon according to EPA Method 413.2. <br /> 3• Lead according to EPA Method 7421 . <br /> B. The nine soil samples at the locations described above <br /> along with two duplicates for a total of eleven samples <br /> will be analyzed for BETX and Total Hydrocarbons. <br /> C. The soil samples collected from the borings at the <br /> waste oil tank and one soil sample collected from a <br /> boring adjacent to the tank excavation along with one <br /> duplicate, will be analyzed for lead. This is a total <br /> of three soil samples which will be analyzed for lead. <br /> D. Note: No ether and alcohol analysis are planned for any <br /> soil samples. <br /> III . Water Sampling Location <br /> A. Water samples which will be analyzed are summarized below: <br /> 1 . Two monitoring wells discussed above. <br /> 2. One split spoon rinsate per site. <br /> 3. One pump blank per site. <br /> 4. Two field blanks per day. <br /> 5• One trip blank per day. <br /> 6. One duplicate. <br /> IV. Water Analysis <br /> A. Water samples will be analyzed for: <br /> 1 . Volatile organic compounds according to EPA Method 602. <br /> 2. Ethers and alcohols using an approved GC Method. <br />
