Mariposa Road <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has received your October 11, 1990, "Proposal <br /> for Characterization and Remediation of Fuel Hydrocarbon <br /> Contaminated Soil" submitted by Uriah, Incorporated on November 2, <br /> 1990. We have the following comments and recommendations: <br /> 1. Refer to pages A1-3 of enclosed "Appendix All for the <br /> appropriate information to be included within the work <br /> plans. <br /> 2 . The soil vapor survey will require PHS/EHD permits. <br /> Permit applications are enclosed for your convenience. <br /> 3 . Aeration permit applications can be obtained by Air <br /> Pollution Control District (APCD) . <br /> 4 . Bioremediation plans should be , submitted to PHS/EHD, <br /> Central Valley Regional, Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) and Department of Health Services (DHS) for <br /> review. <br /> 5. Self certification that the soil is nonhazardous will be <br /> required prior to transporting to a location -other than <br /> a designated disposal facility. Refer to CCR title 22, <br /> Article 11 for procedure.
