EMPLOYEE: Edward Bucio <br />TECHNICIAN <br />RESPONSIBILITIES: <br />Hazardous Materials Technicians ensure that hazardous materials are properly segregated for <br />packaging, transport, and disposal. Their duties include site set-up, greeting customers, <br />completing surveys, managing re -use, unloading, bulking latex paint, and operating equipment. <br />Other duties as required under supervision of Project Manager. <br />QUALIFICATIONS: <br />1. High School diploma or equivalent. <br />2. Ability to read and understand English language. <br />3. Ability to work as a member of a team. <br />4. Operate equipment such as, pallet jack, paint crusher and drum dolly. <br />TRAINING: <br />• 40 -hour training course (with 8 -hour annual refresher) in Hazardous Waste Operations <br />and Emergency Response as prescribed by the Occupational Health and Safety <br />Administration in 29 CFR 1910.120. <br />• Injury and Illness Prevention Program Training (w/bi-annual refresher) <br />• Job specific training specified by the Occupational Safety and Health Standards of Title <br />29 (Annual refresher or as necessary to accommodate job duties) <br />• Spill response protocols (annual refresher) <br />Page 10 <br />
