a` <br /> • In May 1995,the PHS/EHD issued a Compliance Order to correct the surface <br /> I water system at the Tiki Lagun Resort& Marina. The water system is in the <br /> process of being converted to a ground water system in compliance with the <br /> order. A private potable water well has been installed and is currently in the <br /> process of being tested to meet standards. <br /> • Tiki Lagun Resort & Marina operates under the following environmental <br /> permits: <br /> Public Water System #4671 issued by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health and, <br /> Permit to Operate two 4,000 gallon gasoline tanks and one 2,000 gallon <br /> diesel tank and six nozzles issued by the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air <br /> Pollution Control District. <br /> • The historical review performed did not identify potential environmental <br /> concerns related to past land use. Aerial photographs were reviewed back to <br /> 1968. Photographs dating back to undeveloped land were not available. <br /> The following chemicals were observed on the property during the site visit <br /> on June 26, 1995: <br /> Diesel fuelasoline propane, bleach Nalco coagulant, <br /> g , P p <br /> Indications of hazardous substance contamination were not observed on-site <br /> k or on adjacent properties during this investigation. Indications of existing <br /> UST's or areas of continuing on-site solid waste disposal were not observed <br /> during the site visit. An area was observed where a existing diesel UST had <br /> been removed in 1993. That area was the subject of further investigation <br /> which is described in Section 6,0.0 of this report. <br /> • Samples of building materials were collected for subsequent asbestos analysis <br /> during the site survey. The following samples were identified as asbestos <br /> I <br /> containing materials. <br /> • Store bathroom floor tile <br /> (tan tile and black mastic) 10-15%Chrysotile,house <br /> service porch vinyl. flooring (brown sheet vinyl and backing) 30-35% <br /> Chrysotile. <br /> aI <br /> Section 1.0 of this report presents the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, <br /> performed in conformance with the scope of limitations of American Society for <br /> Testing and Materials(ASTM)Practice E1527-93. <br /> BLASLAND,BOUCK&LEE,INC. <br /> EXESUM.--5/1/96 engineers & scientists 2 <br />
