I
am concerned.
I will look into the well bore trace and try to measure the depth on Monday and report back to you.
The storm drain was at two feet deep not that deep, so I don't think the drain was accepting the deeper
grout.
The bottom of the UST excavation may have a void also which would take in some grout.
William R. Please let me know when it is.
There is a problem with the grouting of well MW-1 B; the initial pour dropped beyond any visable level. After
completing well MW-1A they added at least 1.5 more barrels of grout to MW-1 B and it wass continuing to fall
slowly when I left the site. I told Rebecca and the drillers not to add anymore, as Rebecca said there is a storm
drain line in very close proximity. I think the missing grout needs to be found before any more barrels are
inadvertently poured down the storm drain. This needs to be checked soon.
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
Iduncan@sjcehd.com
(209)468-0337 phone
(209)468-3433 fax
8/17/2010
