FINAL REMEDIAL PLAN <br /> Chapin Bros., Inc. <br /> ' 1766 Monte Diablo Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> March 1995 <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Russell Chapin, Geological Audit Services, Inc <br /> ' (GeoAudit) has prepared this Final Remedial Plan (FRP) for the property located at 1766 <br /> Monte Diablo Avenue in Stockton, California (the site) The FRP was prepared using the <br /> guidelines contained in the "Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary <br /> ' Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Storage Tank Sites - Appendix A", dated <br /> August 30, 1991, and prepared by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) The FRP is also based upon information contained in the Problem <br /> Assessment Report (PAR) prepared by SEACOR in July 1994 <br /> The FRP includes analysis and results of the 24-hour soil vapor extraction"In-situ air <br /> sparging pilot study and the quarterly groundv ater monitoring performed by GeoAudrt in <br /> January 1995 The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, a plan of the site is <br /> illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> ' 2 0 BACKGROUND <br /> 21 Historical Site Use <br /> ' The site is located at the southeast intersection of Monte Diablo Avenue and Buena Vista <br /> Avenue (Figure 1) It is our understanding that the site was operated as a gasoline service <br /> ' station fiom the late 1930's to December 30, 1990 Oiiginally, three underground storage <br /> tanks (USTs) were present on the piopeity However, additional tanks were added to the <br /> site behveen 1941 and 1975 Flom 1991 to the present the site has operated as a <br /> automotive repair facility <br /> The site is currently occupied by a single L-shaped building, which houses the auto repair <br /> ' business The building is surrounded on the north and west by an asphalt-paved parking <br /> area <br /> is <br /> ' G-bg-1 k­�l.. 1 <br /> CHMFRP/3 P/J 95rsC w$11056Q2 <br /> 1 <br />
