The following summarizes the data <br /> collected at the subject site and presents BC conclusions and recommendation for the <br /> continuation of this project. <br /> Summary of Site Activities <br /> Excavation and stockpiling of TPH-affected soil began on July 19, 1993, and was terminated <br /> on August 6, 1993. The excavation and stockpiling of the soil is being conducted by Kause <br /> Construction under the supervision of BC. To date. Kause Construction has excavated and <br /> stockpiled on-site approximately 12,000 cubic yards from the excavation. The excavation <br /> currently encompasses an area approximately 80 feet long (east-west trending) by 60 feet wide <br /> (north-south trending). A vehicle ramp has been cut into the excavation along the western <br /> edge of the pit, and extends from 12 feet below ground surface (bgs) at the western end of <br /> the pit to approximately 25 feet bgs one-half of the distance across the excavation. The <br /> eastern one-half of the excavation extends to approximately 44 feet bgs, except in the <br /> northeastern comer where the excavation only extended to 28 feet bgs. The remaining area <br /> of the excavation is approximately 28 feet deep. <br /> T7tis report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared. It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized.
