The following summarizes the data
collected at the subject site and presents BC conclusions and recommendation for the
continuation of this project.
Summary of Site Activities
Excavation and stockpiling of TPH-affected soil began on July 19, 1993, and was terminated
on August 6, 1993. The excavation and stockpiling of the soil is being conducted by Kause
Construction under the supervision of BC. To date. Kause Construction has excavated and
stockpiled on-site approximately 12,000 cubic yards from the excavation. The excavation
currently encompasses an area approximately 80 feet long (east-west trending) by 60 feet wide
(north-south trending). A vehicle ramp has been cut into the excavation along the western
edge of the pit, and extends from 12 feet below ground surface (bgs) at the western end of
the pit to approximately 25 feet bgs one-half of the distance across the excavation. The
eastern one-half of the excavation extends to approximately 44 feet bgs, except in the
northeastern comer where the excavation only extended to 28 feet bgs. The remaining area
of the excavation is approximately 28 feet deep.
T7tis report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was
prepared. It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the
extent of the scope of work which was authorized. This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental
contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site.
7603CO RRES P 0603 021-1
