r- <br /> 6 <br /> SITE SPECIFIC SAFETY PLAN <br /> GOLDEN GRAIN COMPANY <br /> MANTECA SEAN cACILITY <br /> 229 MOFFAT BOULEVARD <br /> MANTI;CA, CALIFORNIA <br /> June 5, 1989 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report has been prepared for Golden Grain Company <br /> (Golden Grain) , in response to a request from the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District (SJLHD) and the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) . Upon removal of a 700-gallon <br /> underground gasoline tank from 229 Moffat Boulevard. Golden Grain <br /> noted that the subsurface soil had been impacted by gasoline <br /> r <br /> hydrocarbons. Eight monitoring wells, installed on the site by <br /> SCS Engineers, showed that groundwater beneath the site had also <br /> been impacted. Dissolved hydrocarbons were found in groundwater <br /> samples from several of the wells, and floating free product has <br /> appeared in some of the wells.
