Conclusions and <br /> recommendations concerning future investigations at the Manteca <br /> Bean facility are also included in this report. <br /> I. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Golden Grain Macaroni company, the firm of <br /> SCS Engineers has conducted additional investigations <br /> concerning soil' and groundwater conditions at the Manteca Bean <br /> facility. The purpose of our work was to establish a more <br /> r <br /> precise indication of the groundwater flow gradient, gather <br /> additional data to more fully characterize the extent of <br /> contamination and identify potential off-site sourr.e_ of <br /> contamination. <br /> rII.
