V. Opportunities for Public Involvement <br />A public comment period on the proposed approval of P.I.'s closure plan will be held as <br />mandated by Federal and State regulations from April 15, 1992 until May 22, 1992. A public <br />hearing will be scheduled if there is significant interest. During the public comment period, <br />written comments will be accepted. All pertinent comments will be considered and answered <br />before a final d ' ision on the Closure Plan is made. Further modification to the closure plan <br />may result if mments warrant it. Once the closure plan is approved, the U.S. EPA or <br />Cal/EPA will ly enforce its implementation.
